Quarterly Newsletter
The Martindale-Brightwood Beacon is a quarterly newsletter published by the Martindale-Brightwood Community Development Corporation. This publication is in collaboration with our official neighborhood associations, residents and service organizations working to assist target neighborhoods via community improvement initiatives. Funding for this project has been provided by the Great Indy Neighborhoods Initiative’s IMAGINE Matching Grant. The Beacon strives to educate readers on issues affecting their daily lives, directly or indirectly. The CDC is currently on the lookout for Martindale-Brightwood residents and other stakeholders interested in submitting news items including written articles, accompanying photographs and event calendar entries for insertion in upcoming issues. Volunteers are also needed to assist with door-to-door distribution of the Beacon when published every three months.
